Cotton Duck Fabric

How waterproof are the Cotton Duck bags? Our cotton duck bags are 100% waterproof. You can read more on how This orginal performance fabric works here

How do I clean Cotton Duck? The easiest way to clean you bag is to dry it and then brush off the loose mud. For stubborn muddy stains use warm water and a nail brush or similar. Never use detergent as this strips out the waterproofing.

How do I keep my cotton duck bags looking good? You should always let the bags dry out after a wet day's ride - empty out the contents to speed up the process. If bags are left damp for a prolonged period of time they could become prone to mildew. Avoid battery acid spills - keep your torch and spare batteries in a sealed plastic bag. Clean your cotton duck bag regularly (see above).

How do I reproof Cotton Duck and how often should I do it? The frequency of reproofing will depend on how much your bag is used - especially if you need to scrub it clean regularly. Try pouring a drop of water onto your bag lid. If the water soaks through to the inside it's definitely time to reproof. Use the reproofing wax available here and rub it into the outside of your bag with a rag. Leave it to penetrate the fibres fully overnight and you're ready to go.

Saddlebag sizes

How do I choose the right one for me? We make saddlebags in a large range of sizes and styles. Some have pockets to help organise your items, many have lashing points on the lid so you can carry extra gear. Three of our largest saddlebags also have extending lids (longflaps) to give even more flexibility. Our saddlebag comparison chart gives all the details to help you choose the right one.
