CARRADICE IN ACTION GALLERY

Will and Ed Stevens spent five months and a day cycling around the entire coastline of mainland Britain, on a pair of specially-built touring Tall Bikes.
Departing from the gates of Buckingham Palace on April Fool's day 2006, they pedalled clockwise around the country, following coastal roads as faithfully as possible, covering 5,821 miles (9,366 km).
The journey was held together by fine welding on the part of Cyclemagic Leicester, by much patience on the part of the riders, and by four pairs of very trustworthy Carradice Super C panniers (front and rear). Despite extensive wear-and-tear, the panniers are still in excellent condition: testament to their sturdy construction. Bravo!

Hi,  I'm Peter Gill
I went on a solo cycle camping trip from Blythe (on the California/Nevada border) to Los Angeles,
My bike is a custom-built Mercian Super Vincitore, with a splittable frame. my lugggage is Carradice

and my tent is a Hilleberg Akto.

This photo was taken during a 'comfort break' and shows the ride across the Joshua Tree National park,

with a thunderstorm approaching (it was about an hour away).  Total trip duration was four days.

My carradice kit funtioned perfectly as expected. (I'm 52yrs old, and have been using Carradice kit for 35 years)

These were your carradice front and rear panniers on our bikes (nearest 2)

while touring through England, France, Germany and the Netherlands last year.

Hi Carradice

Love your products, see attached taken not far from Whitebridge Invernessshire.

Can I congratulate you good people for making such excellent "bomb proof" Super C panniers!

I've just completed a fairly epic cross Scotland and back again mountain bike off road adventure

and have been amazed at how well the panniers stood up to tough single track riding in
the most demanding conditions. I've owned a number of other brands of panniers before and

am sure that none would have stood up to that kind of punishment. It was a wonderful

trip and I think I've got Carradice to thank for getting me and my kit home in one piece.

Just arrived back home in June 2006 after a Southend to Chartres and back round trip, covering over 700 miles

in 24 days. Is that okay for someone pushing 70? By the way panniers are 20 years old and still going strong.

I had this photo on the Rivendell Owners Group on Flickr and someone suggested I send it to you.   This picture was taken in Tyler State Park (North of Tyler Texas) on the way home from a one night bicycle camping trip. (The same bike & panniers have troured from San Fransico to Los Angeles).  The bike (equiped with Carradice saddlebag) has also traveled to the UK twice.  The bike is a Rivendell All-Rounder with Carradice Super C Panniers and Handlebar Bag.

David Hallam used his SQR Tour for a 2200km ride in the Australian outback.  He says:

"I was expecting some break -up in the mounting or failure but............No way.

It is solidly built and although other makes cracked up, the SQR system worked a treat."
