Albert lives on the Isle of Man with Mary Watson
He certainly is a Super C (and he's our office pinup)
----------o----------

A Super C's work is never done !!!!!!
On a 4 day trip from Liskeard to Romsey, Mike Franklin's bikes are resting but
the Super C is still at work.
!
The washing is dry and Mike and his companion are back on the road in Dartmoor
----------o----------

Richard Timm from Germany loves his new Barley saddlebag but on his 1950's Kothke Champion
bike, he has the small double Carradice panniers also dating form the 1940's or 50's.

----------o-----------
John Bell and Jan are from Nottingham but are pictured here on the American Adventure Cycling's transam
route, covering a total distance of 4200 miles. Hoosier Pass is is the highest point of the trip at 11000 feet.
John says his panniers have travelled with him over 20,000 miles and are still going strong. They keep his
kit dry in the heaviest rain wherever he travels.

----------o-----------
Wolfgang Zeller's pictures taken in Scotland at the entrance to the Falkirk canal tunnel

and at the Falkirk Wheel

----------o----------
York City fan Simon Hood Cycled to every home and away match raising money
for the Alzheimer's Society along the way.

He says" Well I made it in no small part to Carradice
and their bags. They lasted the whole season....battered and bruisedand patched up at the end but they've
done 10,000 milesin 10 months through some
pretty awful weather!!"

----------0-----------
Helen visited the Hill of Crosses on her tour of
Latvia and Lithuania

----------0-----------
Tom Mather in the USA uses his Barley for his
22 mile round trip commute every day.

----------0-----------
Mark Singleton's versatile Super C Saddlebag is used for
his daily commute as well as lightweight camping.

Mikal Sjodin enjoys a well deserved sandwich as he reaches the highest point
of Angermanland in northern Sweden.

Cozy, from Tokyo , Japan, loves the style
of classic British bikes. This is his Raleigh
and Barley saddlebag mounted on a Brooks saddle

Dave Shannon's Peugeot with Bagman and Barley
The picture was taken whilst on a well deserved
lunchbreak from cycle instructing at an
Islington school.

----------0-----------
Stig took this picture in Autumn 2009 at Nyckelviken in Nacka
(just outside Stockholm)

----------0----------
Nick Moore says that the Barley saddlebag is the perfect
compliment to his Pashley Guv'nor.
Besides the classic look, it can hold 28" inner tubes and the
multitude of tools required for non quick release wheels!!

----------0----------
James Brooks took these pictures during a grueling tour from North Manchester to Caernarfon

It was gruelling because of the gale force winds and horizontal rain!!

But the Carradice bags performed perfectly. All the contents remained completely dry.
----------0----------
Steve Sweedler toured the Andalucia region of Spain in 2005 with his vintage Lowsaddle Longflap.
The snow in the high country above Alhama de Granada was deep enough to hold up his loaded bike!!

A lunch break beside the Loire for Robin and Jill on their 2005 tour.

Mike Evans' passion for classic perfection is displayed here with a Carradice Barley saddlebag mounted
on his beautifully restored 1949 Parkes Autograph

Beth Hamon's picture shows her Riv. by a mileage marker from Cold Spring Water Corridor,
a 40 mile, car-free pathway which begins at the riverfront, east of downtown Portland and goes
all the way to Boring, Oregon.

Beth is out with the Riv. again but this time it's just a short trip to the library.
She says "Carradice bags are great for errands as well as extended travel"
"

David Hallam used his SQR Tour for a 2200km ride in the Australian outback. He says:
"I was expecting some break -up in the mounting or failure but............No way.
It is solidly built and although other makes cracked up, the SQR system worked a treat."

Another SQR bag - this time the Slim - was used by Jarl Moden on his day trip.
This shot is taken at Ras il-Qammje, up on the Marfa Ridge on Northwesterm Malta.

Not the best view of your products, the saddle bag is 20 years old, I bought it new. Tandam is an orbit 531, we had entered a contest the theme being your bike is a toy. We did not win! (Sam McEachern - New Zealand)

IS this a record ?. Taken in 2005 Stourbridge Cycling Club tour of Morroco ALL with12 carradice long flaps!
and all Brooks saddles . It took a few years to pursuade new commers to this OLD Way of touring,
but they soon appreciated the advantages of Cabin Luggage in a saddle bag ! Roger Mantom.

'Love + Marriage' on my Raleigh Pioneer Metro GLX Trekking Bike. Excellent Workmanship - Thanks Priscilla. John Vuagniaux
