Beautifully made and just a sensible and apparently proven design, regarding it’s wide distribution and long history. The main downside might be the attachment, which to some might be to tedious. In my book however, i think it’s beautiful, since you get so much packing volume without needing to have a rack. A true bikepacking classic. I also need to point out the price point. Compare this level of handmade quality product to other European made brands, like Gilles Berthoud. The classic french touring bag, aka the Randonneur Front Bag, is made from comparative materials and quality, but costs almost triple of this classic British touring bag. :) A big thank you to „Jouta“ if I read the name correctly.
The Nelson Longflap is a fine example of made in the UK skills and crafts, an artisan product with heritage. Long may it continue.
